At My Well Ministry it has always been our goal to help churches and ministries get the most from every donation they receive. We don’t nickel and dime you like the other guys. And as part of that mission we would like to announce our newest feature; Cover The Cost!
What Is It?
The Cover The Cost feature offers the giver an option to increase their donation to cover the processing costs, based on their method of payment. All the giver would have to do is check a box on their payment review screen and the system will take care of the rest! This feature can be enabled for credit card gifts, ACH gifts or both.
Since no two ministries are alike, this feature is optional. The admin will have the option to enable this option on their My Well account page. We don’t want to tell you how to run your ministry, you know which option makes the best sense for you.
How The Rates Work
We encourage all our givers to use the ACH method since it’s the least expensive, 0% plus $.30 per transaction. The card rate is a little different. The credit card companies (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, etc) have hundreds of different interchange rates, 1.75% plus $.30 per transaction represents the average effective rate for all of our churches & ministries.
